Performance Surfacing Inc. is the Canadian Distributor of PSI Coatings. Our water based, solvent-free urethane and epoxy coatings have been installed on over 100,000,000 square feet of surface area. PSI Coatings next generation coatings and paints provide superior protection to all indoor and outdoor applications. We present customers the ability to use sustainable and green products while enhancing performance characteristics. We continue to develop, specialize and enhance our product line to meet consumer requirements and to stay ahead of constantly evolving government regulations. In addition, we continue to ensure commercial availability of high performance, environmentally friendly paints and coatings in the marketplace that exceed the most stringent of those government regulations. We work direcly with the resin producer providing ultimate flexability to create and modify our products. We know all the materials and their method of combination that make up the finished products. This allows us maximum ability to tailor the products to meet specific market and customer performance requirements. As a result, PSI coatings deliver combinations of performance attributes not previously achieved by other coatings.
PSI-EcoPoly is the basis of all our urethane coating systems, whether a flooring application or any of the hundreds of surfaces that would benefit from added protection or rejuvenation. As with the balance of our coatings it is water borne there are no solvents used in its production. Strong and flexible, PSI-EcoPoly can take the punishment of a warehouse environment when applied as a flooring or the movement of an aluminum skin on a trailer or airplane. It can be applied indoors or outdoors and is available in gloss, satin and matte.
PSI-EcoShield has the addition of Microban® antimicrobial protection. Microban® is the global leader in built-in antimicrobial protection. Microban® technology is built-in antimicrobial protection that gives PSI Coating products an added level of protection against microbes such as stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew. Microban protection inhibits the growth of microorganisms, it doesn’t kill them. An important distinction. Because Microban® protection is built-in during the manufacturing process it will not wash off or wear away.
PSI-EcoSafe is our anti-slip system. On its own it has a High slip co-efficient of friction. Certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as “High Traction” – in order to become certified a coating must meet a 0.6 co-efficient of friction reading on a wet floor. We also have an additive that gives the surface even more grip. If you’re concerned about maintaining as safe a floor as possible applying a coat of PSI-EcoSafe will help achieve the goal.
PSI-AquaPoly perfectly suits wet environments. Around a pool or splash pad on a cement driveway or parking lot. It has the ability to protect the underlying substrate from damaging UV radiation, helping maintain the original color. Plus PSI-AquaPoly has the same High slip co-efficient of friction as PSI-EcoSafe. We also have an additive that gives the surface even more grip.
Do you have a challenge with graffiti? If so PSI-GraffitiBlock is the answer. It can be applied directly to brick, block, concrete, metal (ferrous and non-ferrous metals) without the use of a primer. It is a non-sacrificial water-based urethane, which is virtually odorless with low VOCs. PSI-GraffitiBlock provides repeated protection against graffiti by sealing the surface preventing permanent staining. Resistant to, Spray Paint, Permanent marker/Sharpie®, Lipstick, Paint pens and other common graffiti tools and does not mar during graffiti removal.
PSI-EcoPoxy is a two component, zero VOC, 100% solids, solvent free, self-leveling epoxy coating. It is formulated for demanding environment applications and also provides an aesthetically appealing appearance. PSI-EcoPoxy provides a tough, high gloss finish that combines excellent acid and chemical resistance with superior adhesion to many substrates. Can be applied to vertical surfaces at less than 10 mils, to horizontal applications from 10 mils to as thick as desired depending on the condition of the surface.
